Spina Bifida Update

My sister had a cranial shunt placed last week. This was to try to take pressure off the dura leak in her lower spine. It was a gamble. But so far it’s paying off!  She has a lot of pain from the shunt and surgery, but her headaches have subsided and the leak seems to have stopped. Fingers crossed.
